Balenciaga

Micro-Liberty prints are given a crinkled, 
iridescent touch and rendered in a floor-sweeping skirt. 

A naïve broderie anglaise in black 
on a short skirt with a graphic blouse 
in a print inspired by maps. 

 Retro-futuristic explorations 
melding a bohemian theme with techno fabrics.
Iridescent fabrics embroidered with metallic threads.

50s/60s airline uniforms updated with 
stretch fabrics and magnetic closures. 
Something distinctly 1960's Pan Am hostess 
about a fitted and very short blue skirtsuit. 

 Modern, futuristic country-hippie 
blouses and long, full skirts.

Dresses in upholstery florals came with 
flared skirts, nipped waists, and pushed-up busts. 

 High-waisted trousers in double-face navy cotton, 
belted over a navy lace T-shirt.

Easy-on-the-feet sandals and ballerina flats. 

 Aquamarine floral bustier prom dress. 
Oversize chain necklaces.

Fishtail hems were rendered in cotton faille.

A full-length strapless number 
in a superlight cloqué organza.

A satin-wool tuxedo jacket 
over a slinky chain-mail halter top
and a stretch pencil skirt. 

 An ivory wool tuxedo jacket 
over a metallic halter top 
and a slashed and pleated skirt.

 A silk crepe jumpsuit strictly tailored on top 
and loose and flowing below the waist.
Diaphanous chiffon for robes, pajama pants.

Goddess dresses - deeply cowled, 
one-shouldered, in satin jersey.

Slippery, slithery chinoiserie silks. 
The most eye-catching was pieced together 
from swathes of ivory, royal blue, and platinum.
