Pedro Lourenço Paris Fall 2010

The remarkable level of technical accomplishment
in the color-blocked collection.

Paneled leather dresses had high necks, long sleeves,
and rows of stiff horizontal plastic slats and buttons.

The same plastics—this time cut into triangles
and vertically lodged, finlike, around the skirt of a dress.

A well-cut, tan leather coat
completely encased in a “cage” of gilt chains.

A rounded-shoulder style, in black velvet
was stamped with leather.

Leather dresses featuring peekaboo
paneling in flesh-colored tulle.

Pumps and knee-high boots with stiff fins sticking out of them,
and heels in primary colors.
